Worms pose a high economic burden (estimated A$435m/year to the Australian sheep industries in 2015) and resistance to drenches is a major and increasing problem. Sustainable worm management relies on worm egg monitoring and regular drench resistance tests. Dawbuts can help you manage this problem!

The Lab team consists of four experienced technicians, who receive continual support from veterinarian, Matthew Playford, who is highly skilled and experienced in livestock parasitology. The experience and expertise of the Lab team ensures that when your samples reach our lab, results will be provided quickly and accurately. The laboratory tests conducted at Dawbuts can also, if required, be supported with comprehensive advice on drench choice selection, developing a drench management plan, drench resistance testing and any animal health issue that is related.
