Alisa is looking for a farm to work on.

Alisa Waninge (28) has been working in the vegetable rows out at Cowra for the past few months. She is now looking for a change of scene and is hoping to get a place on a livestock property in the Southern Highlands or Southern Tablelands region.

Many Cowra people from my era will remember Alisa’s Mum, Yuriko Tezuka, who was an exchange student from Japan to Cowra High School back in 1979-80.

After graduating in Biomedical Science from University of Birmingham, UK, Alisa worked in a medical technology company in Tokyo before moving to Australia last year on a working holiday visa. She will be available for 6 months from Feb 2025 and has her own car and driver’s license. Her hobbies are piano, and reading novels and she is also a qualified trapeze artist.

Matt has known Alisa and her family for a few decades and is happy to recommend her for this role. She is a responsible and caring person, gets on well with children and has a bright personality. Please contact Alisa directly at alisawt@outlook.jp
